The termination of agent contracts
The termination of agent contracts.
There are two types of agent contracts:
- Broker agent : the breakup must necessarily occur in the context of a serious fault
- agent or mediation agent : the breakup is in principle free. To protect the agent, it is possible to insert irrevocability clauses that will prohibit parties from unilaterally and arbitrarily breaking any contract. It is also possible to conclude instead a mandate contract of common interest for which the termination must necessarily occur by mutual consent and by causes specifically and previously defined in the context of the contract.
